Ingredients

  • 3Tbsp. Oil
  • 1/2 Tsp. Ginger-Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 Tsp. Green Chilly Paste
  • 1/4 Tsp. Red Chilly Powder
  • 2 Tbsp. Chopped Onions
  • 1 Tsp. Fresh Coriander Leaves
  • 2 Tbsp. Minced Chicken Breast (~50g.)
  • 1 Tbsp. Ghee
  • 1 Tbsp. Suji (Semolina)
  • 1/2 Cup Maida (Refined Wheat Flour)
  • Salt, Black Pepper Powder, Coriander Powder, Garam Masala (by the pinch)

Eating a lot of sweets this Holi? Feeling the sugar rush? Now cleanse your sugary pallet with this amazing savoury Chicken Gujiya & take a FLIGHT, to the next level of flavours!! "MURG KEEMA GUJIYA" is not only rich in taste but also power packed with Protein!

Directions

1. For Filling:

Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in a Pan...

Add 1/2 Tsp. ginger garlic paste + 2 Tbsp. chopped onion + a pinch of salt and saute till onion is translucent.

Now Add 1/4 Tsp. green chilli paste + 1/4 Tsp. red chilly powder + a oinch of garam masala + a pinch of coriander powder + a pinch of black pepper powder + ~50g. minced chicken breast + 1 Tsp. fresh coriander leaves and saute well.

Cover and cook till chicken is tender.

Keep aside & let it cool.

 

2. For Dough:

In a bowl add 1/2 cup Maida, 1 Tbsp. Suji, a pinch of salt,1 Tbsp. Ghee, and water as required.

Knead this mixture into a soft dough & cover with a damp cloth.

 

3. For Gujiya:

Take a portion of dough, roll it out and add the prepared mixture into it.

Bring both the edges together and seal the Gujiya using little water at the edges.

In another heated kadai add 2 Tbsp. oil and deep fry these Gujiya.

Your Tasty & Unique Savoury Murg Keema Gujiya is ready.

Best served hot with green chutney!
