This is a rich recipe which goes well with butter naan and lachcha parantha.It has a smooth gravy and melt in mouth koftas.A must try for festivals like holi.
Take 400 gms cottage cheese and mash it with a masher or your hands.Add salt to taste,½ tsp chilli powder ,few cashewnuts and few raisins cut into small pieces.Now place a blob of cottage cheese in your hands and add the filling of cashewnuts and raisins.Now seal the kofta ball with your hands and feep fry till golden brown.For the gravy blanch 3 medium sized tomatoes and 1 onion .Grind them to a smooth paste.Take little oil in a kadhai and add the smooth paste.Stir for a while .Add 2 teaspoon sugar and stir .After that add salt to taste ,½ tsp red chilli powder and mix well.Add a few leaves of kasoori methi which is to be crushed .Then add the koftas and simmer for 5 minutes.Garnish with 2 tbsp cream and its ready to be served.Its a must have in our household on Holi lunch.
