This Is A Halwa/Sheera Recipe Which Is Made From Jau Ka Atta/Barley Flour. Jaggery/Gur Has Been Used Instead Of Refined Sugar In This Halwa Recipe.
Heat Ghee (Melted) In A Kadhai.Add Jau Atta/Barley Flour. Keep Stirring On Low Flame Till Flour Gets Roasted & Colour Changes To Dark Brown (Chocolate Colour).Switch Off The Flame.
In A Separate Pan, Heat Water.Add Jaggery Powder/Gur.Boil The Water & Let The Jaggery Melt Completely.Switch Off The Flame.
Now Add A Small Amount Of This Hot Jaggery Syrup In The Kadhai & Mix & Stir Continuously To Break The Lumps.(On Low Flame)
Now Add The Remaining Jaggery Syrup & Keep Cooking & Stirring Continuously Till The Mixture Thickens To Form Halwa Consistency.
Once The Thick Halwa Consistency Is Ready,Then Switch Off The Flame.
Halwa Should Leave The Sides Of The Kadhai Smoothly & Not Stick.
Now Transfer The Jau/Barley Halwa In A Serving Bowl.Garnish With Silvered (Finely Sliced) Almonds.
Serve Hot & Enjoy This Tasty Dessert.
